THANK YOU!!!

Current Opportunities

MDAS AT ROSSMOOR EARTH DAY

Volunteers are again needed to staff an Audubon table at Rossmoor's annual Earth Day celebration, this year on Friday, April 21, 2017 from 10AM-2PM.

This is an opportunity to introduce new residents to the vast array of activities and interests our chapter represents. The time we have spent at this event has proved very worthwhile over the years carrying Audubon's message of conservation, education, and advocacy.

MDAS AT JOHN MUIR BIRTHDAY-EARTH DAY

The next day, our chapter will join the celebration at the Muir House on Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 10AM-4PM.

It's a long day, but our Volunteer Coordinator reports that "It's a very good event for us." Come see what he means, and enjoy contining John Muir's commitment to environmental appreciation and conservation.

Our continuing Wood Duck and Barn Owl box projects are described on our Connecting People With Nature page, and interested volunteers are always welcome.

Volunteers are also needed to help in enhancing the display board of exhibits that MDAS presents during outreach events. MDAS members who have special artistic talents are especially invited to help.

MDAS members are strongly encouraged to participate in future community events to share with the public valuable information on the conservation of birds and their habitats. Please sign-up for upcoming events that are regularly announced during the MDAS membership meetings every first Thursday of the month.

Your continued valuable participation is much appreciated.
